Oswestry and North Shropshire Model Engineering Society

The Society is a group of likeminded individuals who meet every Tuesday from 9:30am until 4:00pm at the Oswestry Show Ground where our ¼mile raised track of 5” and 3½” combined gauges is situated. We tackle maintenance and any new projects as well as consuming a cup or two of coffee and tea. We also try and put the world to right but who knows. Every second Wednesday of each month, we get together socially at the White Lion Inn, in Whittington from 7:30pm.

We also meet regularly on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 11am until 4:00pm for a steam up. The Society also supports many of the events held at the Oswestry Show Ground.

Oswestry & North Shropshire Model Engineering Society welcomes all enthusiastic persons, for the purpose of bringing together those members interested in model engineering and construction. We are happy to provide support and assistance to novices and amateurs alike. The Society also welcomes junior members to take active participation in all aspects of the hobby.

Oswestry & North Shropshire Model Engineering Society is a member of the Northern Association of Model Engineers.
